Who we are

Rethink Strategy is a sole proprietorship operated by Thomas "Trey" Sparks, based in Fairhope, Alabama, United States. "We," "us," and "Rethink" refer to Rethink Strategy. "You" refers to the person or business using the site or services.

What we offer

We build small, embeddable buyer-decision tools, and we brand and set them up for businesses that make and sell real things. Some tools are free to try on our site. Branded builds and custom work are paid. The specifics of any paid engagement are set out when you buy or in a separate written agreement.

Tool results are guidance, not professional advice

Our tools produce estimates and guidance to help a buyer think, not a substitute for a licensed professional. A tool result is not legal, financial, tax, engineering, or electrical advice, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome. For anything involving safety, code compliance, permits, or money at stake, confirm with a qualified professional before you act. You are responsible for how you use a result.

Payments and fees

• Prices are in U.S. dollars and are processed securely through Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
• Deposits. A custom build deposit reserves the work and is applied toward the total cost of your build, as described when you pay.
• Licenses. A tool license is a one-time fee for the tool described at purchase, branded and set up for your business.
• Retainers. A maintenance retainer is billed monthly and renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase unless stated otherwise.

Refunds

Because our work is custom and digital, refunds are handled case by case. Deposits and fees for work already performed are generally non-refundable, since the cost is our time. If something is wrong, contact us and we will work to make it right. Cancelling a monthly retainer stops future charges; we do not refund the current partial month. To ask about a refund, email trey@rethinkstrategy.ai.

Acceptable use

Use the site and tools lawfully and in good faith. Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, reverse engineer, or misuse the site, and do not use it to infringe anyone's rights or to submit content you do not have the right to share.

Intellectual property

The site, its content, and our tools are owned by Rethink Strategy and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use them for their intended purpose. Ownership and license of any custom deliverable we build for you are set out in the separate agreement for that work. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute our tools or content without permission.

No warranty

The site, tools, and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rethink Strategy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site, tools, or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim in the twelve months before it arose.

Indemnification

You agree to hold Rethink Strategy harmless from claims and costs arising out of your misuse of the site or services, or your violation of these terms or the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Baldwin County, Alabama, and you agree to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
